On May 20 at 19:00 (18:00 Central European Summer Time), the feerie "When the Fern Blooms" by Yevhen Stankovych will be broadcast. The folk-opera-ballet shows a unique Ukrainian rite of Kupala Night and key historical events of the struggle of the Ukrainian people. The play, which describes the freedom-loving spirit of Ukrainians and their centuries-old traditions, has survived the decades of oblivion, being banned by the Soviet authorities.
Watch an impressive show that combines solo and choral singing, modern choreography and video projection. The performers - soloists, choir, orchestra and ballet of Lviv National Opera; conductor - People's Artist of Ukraine Volodymyr Sirenko.
The project's central aim is to preserve the national musical heritage, promote it in the world cultural space, and support charity. All funds will be used to support the Ukrainian people and culture during the war, particularly for the needs of the Military Medical Clinical Centre of the Western Region, which requires the purchase of resuscitation equipment.
